That's some rugged country indeed.
I've done Leatherneck Ridge, and forgot about some of the ominous ledges & cliffs. That shot of what I'm assuming is Falls Creek, (what elev.?), is crazy seeing those pines growing out of the granite at that angle. I'd imagine you tackled Miller from the east side, staying close to where the terrain falls away to the north.

That’s a very astute observation Scott. I specifically didn’t want to go up the boring gully and weaved my way up the right/east shoulder of that north facing wall/ridge seen from Leatherneck. I don’t know what elevation the shot of that broken wall with pine trees was at. Didn’t have an altimeter with me but I’m guessing 6k-7k ft.
